What is tequila?

Tequila is Mexico's national spirit. Tequila is a distilled in the area surrounding Tequila, a town in the western Mexican state of Jalisco, northwest of Guadalaja. It is made from the Tequila agave or blue agave (also known as ''Weber's blue agave, Agave tequilana azul'', and also called Maguey by the locals. Tequila is most often made at a 38–40% alcohol content (76–80 Proof alcohol).


What is silver tequila?

Silver tequila, also known as blanco, is a clear unaged tequila. Its clear appearance and fresh agave flavor makes silver tequila a great choice for mixed drinks.

What is reposado tequila?

Reposado or "rested" tequila, is aged in wooden barrels for at least two months. This aging gives it a pale straw color and is mellower in taste than silver tequilas. Reposado tequila's smooth nature can be enjoyed straight or used to mix more sophisticated cocktails.

What is Añejo tequila?

Añejo tequila, needs to be aged in oak barrels for at least twelve months or more. It is golden amber in color and has a very smooth, complex flaver. It is best sipped slowly like a fine cognac to appreciate the experience.
